2007 AMATEUR PHOTO CONTEST
Contest runs June 1 – October 1, 2007
“A picture is worth a thousand words.” We hope so and here’s your chance to show us!
VisitErie and GoErie.com are seeking photos to help us promote our beautiful city and surrounding Erie County. Be creative…the possibilities are endless!
What to "shoot" for :
- Erie County Attractions & Points of Interest
- Festivals, Fairs, and Celebrations
(Outdoor concerts, Discover Presque Isle Days, Blues & Jazz Festival or other Erie crowd-pleasing events)
- Outdoor Adventures from each Season
- Fun places to be in Erie and Erie County
(downtown and Bayfront activities, performing arts)
PAST AMATEUR PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS
CONTEST GUIDELINES
 Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.- Only photos taken in Erie and Erie County Pennsylvania will be considered for competition.
- A maximum of TWO entries may be submitted per entrant.
- Entries must be sized 8x10 and in color. No other format will be accepted.
- No email submissions.
- Remove all date stamps.
- A signed, completed entry form must accompany photograph(s).
- Please label photos with the following information. ****Do not write directly onto the photo itself.
- Name, address and phone number
- Location of photo (be specific);
- Date photo was taken. (estimate is fine)
- Photos will not be returned. VisitErie and GoErie.com reserve the non-exclusive right to use any photograph(s) for promotional purposes.
- EACVB and GoErie staff members and their immediate families are excluded from entry.
- Winning photos will be awarded ca$h prizes in the following amounts:
- Prizes:
- 1st Place $300
- 2nd Place $175
- 3rd Place $75
- Deadline for submission is Monday, October 1, 2007. Winners will be announced at a later date.
- Photos not in compliance with the above guidelines will not be eligible for prizes.
